Tan cardboard with applique that has a wreath decoration and the book title. 6.25 x 4.5. Dust jacket has the name of the book, series name and list of the titles.

Series Notes:
1. This series was introduced in 1901.
2. The first list of titles included 40 books. This is the primary numbering listed here.
3. In 1902 the numbering changed to reflect the "a" numbers to #39. #40a was added in 1903.
4. In 1906 #41a-46a were added.
5. The series was published until 1912.
6. The formats are identical to the Love and Friendship Series.
7. In Format 3 there are 3 rectangular pictures shown. There is a 4th published which can be seen in Series #63-Format 3a.

Formats 1 and 2 have flowers on the right half of the cover. At this time these flowers have been seen in this series as well the Petit Trianon Series (#143) and the Love and Friendship Series (#127). 16 different flowers have been noted. It is presumed (although not certain) that all 16 will be found in Format 1 and Format 2 books in this series. These flowers are shown below.
