Half vellum. Multicolored illuminated flower on the right with a line drawn gold gilt floral decoration on the left. Title and author within a square on the upper left. 7.25 x 5. Dust jacket has the name of the series with a numbered list of the series going to #34. The reverse of the jacket lists the In His Name Series (#110) books to #36.

Half vellum. Gold gilt line drawn decorative pattern with title and author within it on the left side of the cover. Floral arrangement in colors on the right. 7.25 x 5. Dust jacket lists the 33a titles on its front cover.

Half vellum. Gold gilt pedestal with title and author in a box on top of it. The right side has an illuminated flower surrounding one of four pictorial multicolored idyllic scene within a rectangle. 6.5 x 4.5. Dust jacket lists the titles of the series on the front.

The left side is the same as in format 3. The right has either a floral decorative pattern or an illuminated flower picture. The dust jacket is the same as in format 3 with titles to #33a listed. 6.5 x 4.5

Tan cardboard with a square applique that has the title within a decorative pattern. 6.25 x 4.5. Dust jacket has the name of the book, series name and a list of 33a titles on its front cover.

Series Notes:
1. The first format began in 1901 with the numbering 1-36.
2. The second numbering sequence which is seen with all the other formats began in 1902 with numbers 1-10, 11a-33a.
3. Some Format 1 books have been seen with the Format 2 title list. These are probably a transition between the formats.
4. No illustrations. The earlier format has a portrait of the author opposite of the title page.
5. There were certainly more flower arrangements published in formats #1, 2, and 4 than are shown here. As new pictures become available, they will be displayed.

Formats 1 and 2 have flowers on the right half of the cover. At this time these flowers have been seen in this series as well the Petit Trianon Series (#143) and the In His Name Series (#110). 16 different flowers have been noted. It is presumed (although not certain) that all 16 will be found in Format 1 and Format 2 books in this series. These flowers are shown below.
