Tan cloth. Front cover's top half has the title in black letters while
the bottom half has a pictorial multicolored book appropriate picture
which matches one of the internal illustrations which are found on
every page. The earlier books' cover has the illustration on the cover
cloth whereas the later books have a paste-on picture/applique on the
cover. The earlier brown uncoated dust jackets are pre-1915. The later
white dust jackets are 1915 or later. 8.25 x 6.25.
Series Notes:
1. Pages have rhymes and pictures. Within each picture is a hidden
object which the reader is challenged to find.
2. Books published in or after 1922 have "Printed in the United States
of America" at the bottom of the copyright page.
3. The frontispieces of the earliest books are on grey paper.
