Beige cloth. Title and rectangular lines in green or red. Multicolored book appropriate character's picture within the center rectangle. Boxed. 6.5 x 4.25.

Series Notes:
1. This series had the same format as the earlier Series #58. The difference is that the decorative rectangular lines here are in colors (red or green) as opposed to in gold gilt.
2. The cover illustrations for these books are the same as those in Series #58- Boys and Girls Classics (old).
3. Books #77 and #152 are the only books in this series which did not appear in the earlier Series (#58).
4. The numbering used here is the same numbering that is used for the publisher's series after 1899.
5. The books can also be distinguished from the Series #58 books because Series #57 books advertise the Little Men and Women Series in the reverse ads.
