1. In 1894 #1-27 were published. In 1895 #1-59 were published. In 1896
#1-74 were published. In 1897 #1-87 were published. In 1898 #1-109 were
published. Starting in 1899 new numbering with the books in
alphabetical order was used.
2. Format 3 changed every year. The year and cover are shown in the
picture section.
3. The cloth cover books of 1896, 1897 and 1898 were boxed.
Special comments: From the pictures below it it easy to appreciate that
many of these formats were published in various colors. This means that
if the 1898 cover came in 6 different colors that each of the 109
titles published in this series in that year were also published with 6
different color covers. I suspect that some colors have not yet been
seen. |
